If you remember back before the iPad and the big tablet trend started, the big piece of technology were netbooks. Well during that time Steve Jobs went off saying that netbooks was not something Apple would be interested in, they are simply cheap laptops. I assume during that time was when Steve started pushing the iPad project since he saw that as being the future. Well recently he released the new 11″ Macbook Air, which is basically a netbook. Now we can obviously see that he has changed his mindset towards netbooks and decided to make one, he simply fixed the previous problem by taking out the “cheap” part of the netbook (priced at $999).
