How the iPad changed this disabled boys life (video)

Apple claims that the iPad is going to change the world, well it turns out they were right! The iPad created a way for this 7 year old boy to communicate with the world.

Owen Cain has had a motor-neuron disease known as spinal muscular atrophy Type 1. This disease unfortunately keeps him on a respirator and prevents him from making many movements. Owen’s disease is physical, not mental so he is capable of many things such as math or reading. Since Owen doesn’t have the strength to use the mouse of a normal computer, when the iPad came his way he had no trouble using it. His parents have tried many devices in the past with no luck, it seems that the iPad is the first device that truly suits Owen’s needs. Thanks to the iPad he’s able to accomplish so much more with more ease than ever before.

All I really can add to this is way to go Apple! By the way, make sure you click the source link below, definitely worth a read.
