Verizon 4G LTE Launching December 2010

I know everyone has been waiting for this for quite some time! Well it is finally going to launch, Verizon’s LTE Network. The commercial above is actually going to air tomorrow so you’re getting an early taste.

It actually kind of surprises me that it’s already being released being the fact that all rumors and indications pointed towards an early 2011 release. Well I suppose this is a holiday treat for all the Verizon customers, right now there isn’t a coverage map but I doubt it’s incredibly strong right now, however based on Verizon’s past history it’ll spread incredibly quickly!

  Although that would be awesome, I highly doubt that the iPhone will be on their LTE network if it comes out early 2011. Apple is typically a company that plays it safe with that kind of stuff (especially now that Antennagate has happened).
  
  For example when the original iPhone came out, it was on Edge only. Why would they do that? Well at the time it was the more stable technology.
