If you’re a fan of the Playstation consoles, then you’ve definitely played a game from the Wipeout franchise! Well apparently a couple of geeks got bored of the Wipeout games and apparently getting a new game or trying a new activity like a normal person they decided to release their inner geek and build a virtual reality version of wipeout!

Obviously building something like what’s present in the game is close to impossible for a few average engineers, however building something close to that experience isn’t so difficult. What they essentially did was build a small remotely controlled car with a camera and a track out of cardboard. To make the experience a little more enjoyable they made the controller more realistic with your “windshield” being the screen.
